The Basics

It's four simple steps:

You pick your photo, customize a message and optionally your handwriting font, enter a delivery address, and pay. We handle printing on premium glossy cardstock and mailing it as a real USPS postcard — no printing, no post office, no hassle.

About a week for domestic delivery. We print and hand off to USPS within 1 business day of your order, and USPS first-class mail handles the rest.

You'll get an email with tracking when your postcard ships, so you can watch it make its way to the mailbox.

It's completely free — printed, mailed, and postage included. No subscription, no monthly fees, no cost to you.

SnailCard postcards are printed in the standard 4×6 inch postcard format on premium glossy cardstock. The front features your photo (cropped to a 6:4 ratio for the best fit), and the back has your handwritten message, the delivery address, and a USPS postage stamp.

Your Handwriting

Go to the app and look for Handwriting in the menu. You can create your handwriting in two ways:

1. Photo handwriting: Take a photo of something written in your handwriting — we use it as the message background for an authentic look.

2. Touch Draw: On iPhone or iPad, draw each letter directly on screen using your finger or Apple Pencil.

Orders & Editing

No — once an order is placed, it goes straight to print. Because we begin printing immediately after payment, we can't make changes to a postcard in progress.

If you made a typo or want to try again, you can duplicate the postcard from your order history, make your edits, and send a new one.

Domestic US only for now. We use USPS for delivery, so we currently support addresses within the United States (50 states + territories).

International shipping is on our roadmap — if that's important to you, let us know and we'll move it up the list.

If USPS can't deliver and returns the postcard, you'll get an email notification. This usually happens due to an address issue. Double-check the address carefully before sending — unfortunately we can't refund for returned mail caused by incorrect addresses, but we're happy to help if something went wrong on our end.
