Using SnailCard
SnailCard lets you turn your phone photos into real postcards that we print and mail via USPS. By using SnailCard, you agree to these terms.
You must be 13 or older to use SnailCard. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.
Your content
You own the photos and messages you create. By uploading a photo, you grant us a limited license to use it solely to produce your postcard.
You are responsible for the content you send. You may not use SnailCard to send:
- Harassment, threats, or hate speech
- Illegal content of any kind
- Content that infringes on someone else's intellectual property
- Sexually explicit material
- Spam or unsolicited bulk mailings
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order that violates these guidelines.
Pricing and payment
Your first postcard is free. Each postcard after that is $1, which includes printing and USPS first-class postage.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are in USD. We may offer promotional pricing from time to time.
Delivery
We mail postcards via USPS first-class mail. Estimated delivery is about a week within the US. We currently ship to US addresses only.
We are not responsible for delivery delays or failures caused by USPS or incorrect addresses you provide. If your postcard is returned to sender, we'll contact you to arrange a resend or refund.
Refunds
If your postcard is returned due to an undeliverable address, or if there is a printing error on our part, we'll offer a resend or full refund. Contact us within 30 days of your order.
Postcard orders cannot be cancelled once submitted for printing, which typically occurs within minutes of order placement.
Account
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Contact us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
SnailCard Notifications (SMS)
This optional recurring program sends automated service notifications for categories you choose: postcards sent to you; your own postcard printing, in-transit, delivery and return events; and new friend connections, follows and reactions to your shared postcards. Own-order and friend activity requires sign-in. Messages identify SnailCard and link to the application or recipient journey without putting postcard images, private messages or street addresses in the text. Marketing, referral and win-back messages, and password-reset credentials, are not included.
To enroll, open SMS preferences from Account, a postcard journey link, or a shared program link. Enter your own U.S. mobile number, select the initially unchecked categories you want and the separate unchecked SMS consent box, then send the displayed JOIN code from that number to the displayed program number within 30 minutes. You must control that number. No text is sent merely because someone supplied your number, added a friend, or submitted a form. After verification you receive an enrollment confirmation, followed only by new eligible activity after activation and your verification. No historical events, old emails, or prior friend activity are replayed. Saving and confirming new choices replaces your previous choices.
Frequency varies with activity: up to 10 application texts per day, plus replies to STOP, HELP or START. A text can span multiple SMS segments. Message and data rates may apply to incoming and outgoing messages, including your confirmation text. Consent is optional and is not a condition of purchase. Declining or withdrawing consent does not affect creating, paying for, printing, mailing or viewing a postcard, or using the map. Rate limits, provider delays and service interruptions can cause notifications to be skipped. Skipped events are not queued for later catch-up delivery.
Reply STOP to opt out of all SnailCard application texts. You may receive one final opt-out confirmation. Reply HELP for help, or contact paul@collins-mgmt.com. Other supported opt-out keywords include STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, REVOKE and OPTOUT. To enroll again after STOP, send START to unblock messaging and complete a fresh consent form and phone confirmation. START alone never restores previous consent. The SMS page shows current availability; enrollment stays closed until carrier approval and technical activation.
Delivery is not guaranteed. Carriers are not liable for any delayed or undelivered messages. Postal status may lag physical delivery. Please notify support if you change or give up your number. Mobile numbers and SMS consent are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy for consent records, service providers, retention, and your choices.
Limitation of liability
SnailCard is provided "as is." We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the order in question.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we'll update the date at the top. Continued use of SnailCard after changes means you accept the updated terms.
